Art project

ArtLab is a fun, hands-on after school program that brings art and science education to students in kindergarten through second grade. Curious children frequently pursue meaningful adventures that expand their understanding of the world. Engaging children in science-based crafts and experiments can be a valuable approach to promote creativity and problem-solving abilities.

Engaging in science-based crafting can
provide children with a practical way to
understand scientific concepts, The Center for
Childhood Creativity
at the Bay Area Discovery
Museum found
that "based on the review of
more than 150
empirical studies from cognitive
developmental psychology and education -
children are capable of remarkable
from the earliest of years".

Our curriculum has been thoughtfully designed to offer a balanced blend of artistic expression and scientific exploration. In the art component of our program, students will have the opportunity to explore various art forms such as drawing, sculpting, collage and painting. We provide high-quality art materials to ensure that each child can fully immerse themselves in the creative process. Through hands-on activities and guided instruction, we encourage creativity and self-expression, while helping students develop their fine motor skills.

On the science side, we cover a wide range of topics, including nature exploration, simple experiments, and STEM related activities. Our goal is to ignite curiosity and promote inquiry and exploration.

We would love to collaborate with your school to provide an enriching and inspiring afterschool experience for your students. If you are interested in partnering with ArtLab, please fill out the contact form below.
